Before you convert
Is HEIC to JPG conversion free?
Yes. Convert up to 20 photos at once, with individual JPG and ZIP downloads. No account or watermark. Each input can be up to 25 MB and 25 megapixels; the batch input and retained JPGs each have a 150 MB limit.
Will my photos keep their original size and quality?
The pixel dimensions are preserved for supported photos, but JPG is a lossy format. Higher quality usually makes larger files. The result is an 8-bit SDR JPG; HDR and wide-gamut appearance may change. Keep your HEIC originals if those details matter.
Which HEIC and HEIF files can I convert?
This tool decodes HEVC-based HEIC and HEIF still photos. HEIF can also contain other codecs that are not supported here. Only the primary still image is exported; Live Photo video, bursts and image sequences are not exported.
Are my photos uploaded? Is location data kept?
Your photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded. JPGs do not include the original EXIF or GPS metadata. The site may collect limited usage statistics, as described in our privacy policy.
What if a photo fails to convert?
Try an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and a smaller batch. Damaged files, unsupported codecs and images over the limits may fail. Successful JPGs stay available even when another photo fails.
